Police in Delaware County are looking for a woman who committed one burglary and attempted to commit another in the Secane area.
According to the Delaware County Times, a woman with a blonde ponytail entered a house in the 1100 block of Brookwood Lane sometime Wednesday afternoon and stole jewelery, cash, a laptop, and an iPod from the bedroom. Police recovered a half-eaten apple and a cigarette butt as evidence.
Later that day, the woman allegedly attempted to enter a house on Wynnbrook Road. Authorities reported that scrap metal was missing from the property, while a screen door in the rear of the house was damaged and showed signs of attempted entry.
Police are looking for a black sedan with gold striping along the side and an Italian flag vanity license plate. The car was seen in front of the house on Brookwood Lane, as well as driving away from the house on Wynnbrook Road.
