Death of Missing Woman Ruled a Homicide

Authorities say the death of a woman whose body was found on a Camden street last weekend has been ruled a homicide.

Camden County Prosecutor Warren Faulk says an autopsy determined that 31-year-old Stephanie Luttrell of Burlington Township died from strangulation. She was found dead around 11:30 a.m. Saturday in the 1000 block of South 5th Street.

Further details on the slaying have not been disclosed.

Police are warning women in the Broadway area in South Camden to be alert and report any suspicious actvity to police.

"They may be targeted by one or more violent individuals," wrote Public Information Officer Jason Laughlin in a press release.
