Day Care Fire Ruled Arson

A day care fire that left three firefighters hurt and the building badly damaged has been ruled arson.

The two-alarm fire broke out around 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Magic Cottage day care on Appletree Drive in Levittown, Pa.

No one was inside the building at the time of the fire. Three firefighters suffered minor injuries while battling the blaze.

On Monday the Bristol Township Fire Marshal's Office declared the fire intentionally set.

The investigation into who set the blaze continues.

With the building damaged, the children will attend programing at the Magic Cottage on Floral Vale Boulevard in Yardley, Pa. instead.
