Philadelphia's so-called "Park on the Parkway" will make its return this summer, bringing with it live music and performances, food trucks and a beer garden, which will have an expanded schedule during the Democratic National Convention.
The Oval will return July 15 until Aug. 21, and a spokeswoman told the Philadelphia Business Journal this year's iteration would surpass previously set expectations.
The eight acres of public space on the Ben Franklin Parkway features free programming, events and activities such as live music, movie nights, performances, workshops and local food trucks.
