Two robbery suspects are in police custody Saturday after barricading themselves in a Frankford neighborhood home.
Authorities said the two were holding children inside the home hostage before the arrest was made.
Around 6:30 a.m. Saturday, a business was robbed at gunpoint on the 1300 block of Wakeling Street. The weapon may have been a shotgun.
The men were then observed entering a home at 4948 Saul Street, very close to Frankford High School.
Police surrounded the building, and a barricade situation ensued through Saturday morning. Around noon, police were able to apprehend the two suspects without injury. The juveniles being held inside the home were brought out of the building uninjured as well.
