DA Plans to Shut Down Bar

Authorities say they plan to shut down a Pennsylvania bar that's had a history of criminal complaints.

Allegheny County District Attorney Stephen Zappala Jr. says his office met Friday morning with the owners of Levelz Sports Lounge in an attempt to avoid legal action, but the meeting wasn't productive.

The DA's office has been meeting with Pittsburgh police and various South Side neighbors and business owners to figure out how to handle the troubled bar. Authorities say there were 33 separate police responses to Levelz between January 2011 and July 2013, including a huge brawl last October and a stabbing last week.

A call placed to Levelz seeking comment wasn't answered.
