Customer Shot Inside Port Richmond Bar During Botched Robbery

The man was shot in the shoulder and is expected to make a full recovery.

Philadelphia police are looking for two men they say shot a patron during a robbery attempt at a Port Richmond bar early Thursday.

The shooting happened at the Port Richmond Pour House on the 2200 block of E. Clearfield Street around 1:30 a.m.

Authorities say two armed men entered the bar wearing ski masks and demanded money.

The bars owner hit the alarm button causing the suspects to panic and that's when they opened fire, hitting one male patron in the shoulder.

The alleged robbers fled the scene empty-handed.

The injured man was transported to Hahnemann University Hospital. He is expected to make a full recovery, according to officials.
