A custodian is facing charges he sexually assaulted a female co-worker at night inside a suburban Philadelphia middle school.
The West Chester Daily Local News reported Saturday that 49-year-old Steven Warren Wesley was charged with rape and sexual assault for the alleged attack inside a small office at Stetson Middle School in West Chester.
Westtown-East Goshen police say the incident occurred Thursday in the closed school, when no students were inside the building.
Court records don't list a lawyer for Wesley. The paper says he was taken to Chester County Prison with bail set at $500,000.
The school district says Wesley hasn't engaged in any misconduct while working for the district over 17 years.
The victim was released after treatment at a hospital.
