Sources: Crooked Cleaning Lady Cleans Up

An East Goshen Township, Pa. cleaning woman was allegedly doing more than picking up dirt at some Main Line homes.

Kimberly Williams, 44, took jewelry, coins, silver and more, according to Montgomery County Prosecutors. Williams also allegedly took sports memorabilia, rings and credit cards, according to some victims who spoke with NBC 10 News.

Thousands of dollars worth of items not belonging to Williams were recovered after police searched her Margo Lane home, according to court papers. Other items such as jewelry surfaced at a Newtown Square, Pa. jewelry store where Williams left the jewels to be appraised, according to a store employee.

At least four Main Line homeowners have blamed Williams for taking items from their homes, NBC Philadelphia has learned.

Williams is charged with multiple thefts and turned herself in on Friday morning. Andrew Kaplan was there to confront her -- he claimed that Williams stole from his brother.

Some of missing items were allegedly taken from Kaplan's sick brother. An Exton auctioneer sold a baseball scrap book for thousands of dollars last year -- the problem is that the scrap book was sold without permission by Williams, according to Kaplan.

"What kind of person would steal from an emotionally and physically disabled person dying of cancer?" asked Kaplan.

At least one client fired Williams after things went missing, according to court documents.

Williams' unidentified 26-year-old son came to his mother's defense.

"I think all her clients would rally around and support her," he told NBC 10 News Thursday.

Charges aren't expected against Williams' estranged husband who is a police detective in Delaware County, according to sources.
