A man lost control of his car early Thursday morning, leading to a crash that pushed him part way out the vehicles window in Bucks County. The driver died at the scene.
The fatal accident occurred along Route 413 near Lower Mountain Road in Buckingham Township around 1:30 a.m., according to police.
The driver lost control and slammed into a utility pole, splitting it in half, officers said.
The car continued moving and finally came to a stop against a group of trees, authorities said.
No word yet on the victim's identity.
Officials closed a portion of Route 413 while they investigated. Authorities said commuters should expect the roadway to be closed for part of the Thursday morning rush hour.
