Corbett's Budget Address Gets Swift Twitter Reaction

Pennsylvania Governor Tom Corbett called for more school funding during his annual budget address. His speech, which can be read in its entirety here, received swift reaction on Twitter and on other social media portals.

Corbett proposed changes to Pennsylvania's Medicaid program, saving $125 million in next year's budget.

His address was met with reaction on Twitter from support to sharp criticism. Temple University's student body Darin Bartholomew present tweeted he met with the Temple Student Government treasurer to go over the school's own budget after Corbett's address, noting Corbett proposed $139,917,000 in general support to Temple for the 2014-15 budget.
