Cops Find Heroin in Woman's Bra During Traffic Stop

The woman was stopped for speeding and police discovered that she was high on heroin and prescription meds.

Police say a traffic stop led to the uncovering of a heroin trafficking operation in Tobyhanna Township, Monroe County.

On Thursday, a woman was stopped for speeding on Route 940 and that's when officers say they discovered that she was high on heroin and prescription medications and was hiding a large amount of heroin in her bra, according to WFMZ.com.

WFMZ is reporting that the driver, Danielle Mitchell, 27, had 170 bags of heroin in her bra. One of Mitchell's passenger's 33-year-old Jasmine Ackerman was also holding the drug in her bra, police said.

Investigators tell WFMZ
that Mitchell, Ackerman and a third passenger, Benjamin Farah, 22, had just returned from picking up the heroin in Paterson, New Jersey and delivering some of their supply in Monroe County when they were pulled over.

All three were arrested. The woman are facing multiple charges, including possession with intent to deliver and delivery of heroin and criminal conspiracy.

Farah is charged with marijuana possession and possession of drug paraphernalia.
