Cooper Medical School Achieves Full Accreditation

Cooper Medical School of Rowan University has achieved full accreditation for five years, the maximum time period available for a new school, from the Liaison Committee for Medical Education (LCME).

The LCME is the nationally-recognized accrediting body for medical education programs leading to a doctor of medicine degree in the United states and Canada.

Cooper Medical School opened in 2012 and in May graduated its charter class.

“We are extremely pleased by the outcome of the LCME full accreditation review process,” said Dr. Paul Katz, dean of the medical school.
