Authorities in western Pennsylvania say a woman was flown to a Pittsburgh hospital after surviving a fall down a cliff over the weekend.
Police in Allegheny County said the 19-year-old woman had been with several other people driving a four-wheel-drive vehicle on a trail when it got stuck. Authorities said the woman went to look for help but tumbled 60 to 80 feet down the slope above Route 28 southbound in East Deer Township.
Eureka deputy fire chief Brad James told the Valley News Dispatch that the woman was “conscious and semi-alert” when she was taken from the scene to a park for transport at about 8 p.m. Sunday.
Officer Steve Freiberg said the woman told police she has a history of seizures. Her condition was not immediately available.
