Fire Burns for Hours at Montgomery County Uniform Rental Company

A fire at a Montgomery County uniform company burned out of control for hours Wednesday morning.

The two-alarm blaze broke out after 11 p.m. at Clemens Uniforms on W 5th Street in Lansdale, Pennsylvania.

Firefighters battled flames by rotating out putting water on the fire as it burned inside the large building, said Montgomery County dispatchers.

Crews finally got the fire under control around 4:30 a.m. Wednesday. The fire didn’t spread to any nearby buildings and no one was hurt, said dispatchers.

The cause of the fire – including if it was suspicious – remained under investigation Wednesday.

Clemens Uniforms has rented out uniforms since 1986 and has operated out of the 5th street location since 1988, according to the company’s website. No word yet on the impact of the blaze on the company’s customers.
