Christie Heads Back to Camden to Tout Gains

Gov. Chris Christie is heading back to Camden.

Christie on Wednesday afternoon is scheduled to join local officials for a public safety and community event at Elijah Perry Park.

Later, the governor will head to the KIPP Cooper Norcross Academy and then spend some time with the players of the Camden High football team on their athletic field.

Christie has been making frequent stops in the impoverished city, particularly to tout school and public safety programs.

In the morning, Christie will join New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo to deliver an update on bistate security efforts.
