Police are searching for the driver of a car that ran down a Chester County teenager in Miami, leaving her in a medically induced coma.
Eliza Gresh, a freshman at the University of Miami, was hit by a Mercedes last week. South Miami Police have identified the driver as Luis Moya. According to authorities, Moya took the car to a body shop after the collision and the body shop called police when they realized that Moya's car fit the description of the car involved in the hit-and-run.
Charges have already been filed against Moya's mother, Ziola, after investigators say she made a false insurance claim for the accident.
