Casino Shuttle, Jitney Collide Injuring 30

Accident happened near the Caesars and Bally's Casinos

A collision between a Harrah's Casino shuttle bus and Jitney has injured dozens of people near the Atlantic City boardwalk.

The crash happened around 3:20 p.m. Thursday near Pacific and Ohio Avenues, police said. That's outside the Caesars and Bally's Casinos.

The font door to the Jitney could be seen smashed in after the accident. Both the Jitney and Harrah's Casino shuttle bus had to be towed away after the crash.

Thirty people suffered minor injuries in the accident, police say. The hurt were taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center's Atlantic City and Mainland campuses.

The cause of the crash is being investigated, police say.
