Carjacking Caught on Tape at Philly Gas Station

A camera rolled as a man tried to stop a carjacker from taking his station wagon from a Philadelphia gas station.

A 61-year-old man tried to stop a carjacking and he ended up being dragged by the vehicle. A surveillance camera captured the incident at a Lukoil gas station in the Nicetown-Tioga section of Philadelphia on Monday.

Philadelphia police say the man pumped gas into his Oldsmobile station wagon at the gas station on the 3100 block of West Hunting Park Avenue.

As the man walked to the cashier booth, the suspect got into his car and tried to drive away. The man turned and reached into his vehicle but the suspect fled, and dragged the man with the vehicle.

The man wasn't injured. The station wagon was found by police a few blocks away, but they have not found the suspect.
