Police say a Pennsylvania man who crashed after a high-speed chase had a 3-year-old and a pregnant woman in the car.
Authorities say 24-year-old Toryan L. White of Altoona allegedly fled a traffic stop at about 3 a.m. Friday.
The Altoona Mirror reports that White allegedly accelerated the SUV and later almost struck one of the officers' vehicles. Police say he ultimately struck a bridge and came to rest, then allegedly ran into the woods, leaving a pregnant woman and her 3-year-old son in the vehicle.
The woman and the boy were eventually taken to the hospital for treatment, according to police.
White is facing 32 different charges, including two felonies. He's being held in the Blair County Prison, unable to post $35,000 bond.\No attorney was listed on court papers, and a preliminary hearing is scheduled for Dec. 30.
