Officials closed westbound lanes of Interstate 76 near the Vine Street Expressway during the Thursday morning rush hour.
The closure, which lasted less than an hour, followed an accident involving a flipped car on I-76, authorities said.
One eastbound lane on I-76 was also closed for a short time.
All lanes in both directions were reopened by 8 a.m., although drivers should expect major delays.
There are no reported injuries.
