Car Crashes Into Nightclub Crowd, Kills Woman

Witness says car went around the block twice and each time kept hitting more people

A car slammed into a crowd of people outside a Philadelphia nightclub early Saturday morning, killing one woman and injuring several other people. It may have been intentional, according to police and that is why the department's homicide division is investigating.

The two women in the car were taken into custody. No charges have been filed, according to police.

One witness told CBS3 that the driver of the car "came around the block, she started hitting everybody on one side, went around the block again then hit everybody on the other side then came around the block again and then hit everybody on that same side."

At least three other people were taken to Temple hospital.

The accident happened around 4 a.m. right near Club Motivation at 8th and Dauphin Streets in North Philadelphia.

KYW radio reports the women in the car were allegedly upset because they were turned away from the club.
