Bus, 2 Tractor-Trailers Crash on NJ Turnpike

More than a dozen injuries have been reported following an serious accident on the New Jersey Turnpike Wednesday.

Chopper was over scene of the crash that involved a charter bus traveling from New York to Washington, D.C. New Jersey state police say that the bus and two tractor-trailer collided on the turnpike southbound just north of exit 8A near Cranbury, N.J. a little before noon.

The driver of the bus was flown to Robert Wood Johnson hospital where he and two other victims are in critical condition. Fourteen other passengers sustained minor injuries, according to authorities.

Police say that 55 passengers were on the bus at the time of the crash.

The accident is under investigation.
