Bullet-Riddled SUV Stops at NJ Turnpike

An SUV riddled with gunshots pulled into a New Jersey Turnpike construction zone early Tuesday morning around 3:30 a.m. It happened in the southbound lanes near Interchange 6 in Burlington County.

Two of the men inside the vehicle suffered from non life-threatening gunshot wounds while one was unharmed. The two men were taken to the Helene Fuld Medical Center for treatment.

The three men are in their teens and early twenties according to investigators.

State Police Sgt. Julian Castellanos believes that the men were victims of a drive-by shooting before they pulled over.  Police continue to investigate.
