Bulldog Blog: Getting Accepted

High school blogger Brady McHale brings the inside story from Lower Merion High School.

A lot of things happen in spring, flowers grow, temperatures rise and students across our area get their college acceptance letters.

College letters are all the talk at LM where members of the class of 2010 are learning what the future holds.

Although recently other things going on have over looked that the institution is still doing their job when it comes to getting kids into college. Lower Merion has always been known for their great graduation rate -- nearly 98 percent, according to Schools-Data.com

Some students head to Ivy League schools. There’s a common joke between the guidance counselors that LM feeds more kids to Penn than Harriton (so funny right?).  Along with Penn the school also sends students to schools like Gettysburg, Delaware and Georgetown Universities.

Even though I have a few more years until I have to start thinking about where I want to go to college, I guess I’m pretty lucky that I’ve got Lower Merion in my corner.
