Authorities have released the names of a man and a woman found shot to death inside a vehicle.
But it's still not clear what sparked the shooting in Buena.
Atlantic County prosecutors say 34-year-old Damon Jones, of Bridgeton, and 23-year-old Talisa Colon, of Vineland, were found in the vehicle around 1:20 a.m. Saturday when police responded to a report of shots fired on Wheat Road. Both victims were pronounced dead at the scene a short time later.
Authorities have not provided further details about Jones or Colon.
No other injuries were reported in the shooting.
Authorities say no arrests have been made. But they declined further comment, citing the ongoing investigation.
