Doctor Guilty of Molesting Children Files Appeal

Dr. Early Bradley challenges search that led to his conviction on rape and sexual exploitation of children

The former pediatrician who was convicted last year of molesting scores of young patients has filed an appeal to the Delaware Supreme Court.

Dr. Earl Bradley's public defenders claim that Delaware State Police searched places and things at Bradley's office not listed on a search warrant. That search turned up video evidence of Bradley molesting children.

The appeal to overturn the convictions was filed March 5.

Bradley was sentenced last year to 14 life sentences without parole for 14 counts of first-degree rape and more than 160 years in prison for multiple counts of assault and sexual exploitation of a child.

The Delaware Attorney General's Office declined to comment on the appeal; prosecutors must file a response by April 4.

Bradley’s former offices were torn down last year.
