Off-Duty Cop Allegedly Passes Bad Check

A Philadelphia Police officer found herself on the wrong side of the law and it could likely cost her her job.

Officer Rabecca Bozeman was arrested Friday for allegedly making a purchase with a fraudulent check back in August, Philly Police said. She was off duty when she allegedly tried to pass the bad check at a store on the 2100 block of Cottman Avenue.

An internal investigation found that the three-year-veteran had passed “worthless checks.”

The 33-year-old assigned to the 15th District was suspended with intent to dismiss.

Bozeman is charged with bad checks and theft offenses.
