Cops: Boys Rob Woman, 84, Who Gave Them a Ride Home From Church

The boys are 11 and 12

Police in Pittsburgh say they've charged two boys, ages 11 and 12, with robbing an 84-year-old woman who gave them a ride home from church.

The woman told police the boys got in the back seat of her car and grabbed her purse during the trip, prompting her to crash into a fire hydrant as she failed to stop them.

The boys' names are not being released because they're minors.

The victim told police she was leaving church late last Saturday afternoon when the two boys asked her for a ride.

Police think an older boy, 15, may also be involved. He and his younger brother, the 12-year-old, are suspected in a string of assaults,, burglaries and robberies.
