An 11-year-old boy is in the hospital after he was struck by a car in West Philadelphia.
Investigators say the boy was on 57th and Arch streets Saturday afternoon when he was struck by the vehicle. The impact sent the boy 11-feet over the hood of the car before he landed on the ground and was knocked unconscious, according to officials.
The boy was in stable condition when he was transported to the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
Investigators have not yet revealed whether the driver remained at the scene.
