Authorities in western Pennsylvania say a 1-year-old boy died after apparently falling into a pond in the yard of a home.
State police in Mercer County said Enos Mast of New Wilmington was found at about 8:30 a.m. at the Springfield Township home.
Police said resuscitation efforts were unsuccessful and the child was pronounced dead.
Authorities are investigating and no further information was immediately available.
