An 11-year-old boy struck by a car early Sunday night has died, according to Galloway Township Police.
The Galloway Patch reports Marcus Daley, of Galloway Township, was hit by a car at 6:07 p.m. on the corner of Collins Road between Colonial Court and Society Hill Drive.
Investigators say children were playing in the area when the boy wandered into the street and was struck. The driver, Lee Jones, 23, immediately stopped, according to police.
The boy was treated and transported to Atlantic City Medical Center Mainland Campus where he was pronounced dead.
