A two-year-old boy is in foster care after ingesting an unknown amount of cocaine Saturday.
The boy was hospitalized after people saw the boy shaking and foaming at the mouth.
He was taken to Southern Ocean County Hospital by family, then transferred to Jersey Shore Medical Center where he was treated.
The boy and two other children were placed in foster care, taken from the custody of James Gordon of Manahawkin, according to the Asbury Park Press.
Gordon was arrested for an outstanding child support warrant. After being granted a search warrant, police searched the home and found cocaine, heroin, and marijuana.
Gordon was charged with endangering the welfare of a child and possession of cocaine, heroin and marijuana.
He is being held at Ocean County Jail on $142,000 bail.
