Philadelphia Police are on the hunt for a “Bonnie & Clyde” duo who they say used a Taser on victims in several robberies.
Between August 11 and September 2, the duo allegedly committed at least five robberies at various locations in the East and Northeast Divisions.
One of the victims, Erin Norton, says she was tased and robbed by the suspects as she was walking to a convenience store, only a few blocks from her home in Fishtown.
“It was just enough to make you, like ‘whoah!’ You know what I mean?” Norton said. “You’re wondering if it’s a gun because you’re not sure if it’s your shock.”
Norton told NBC10 that while she’s angry at the robbers, she’s also upset with the people who she claimed were walking along Frankford Avenue and witnessed the robbery but did nothing to help after she was tased.
Police say the suspects were captured on surveillance video on the platform of the Front and Girard El station a few minutes after they robbed Norton.
The video shows one of the suspects, a large man, take off his shirt as he walks underground, appearing both sweaty and out of breath. The second suspect, a woman, walks behind him carrying a backpack. Police say the duo then changed their clothes underneath the staircase and then hopped on a train.

Police also say the suspects tased an elderly victim during another robbery. The man allegedly told the victim, “If you don’t want a heart attack, give me everything you got!” The duo then allegedly stole $600 along with the man’s social security card.
“It’s very dangerous,” said Philadelphia Police Captain Mark Burgmann. “In one case they tased a woman and her boyfriend. He fought back and I believe he was stabbed in the leg.”
The Citizens Crime Commission is offering a $1000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspects.
