Body in Pennsylvania Pond ‘Suspicious': Police

Police are investigating the death of a man whose body was found in an eastern Pennsylvania pond.

Police in Cumru Township say the property owner discovered the body about 3 p.m. Tuesday. The pond is on a 36-acre tract.

Township police Chief Madison Winchester says the man's death is considered suspicious and is unusual for the rural area about 60 miles northwest of Philadelphia.

Police know who the 41-year-old victim is, but didn't immediately release his name.

An autopsy was expected Thursday. [[419704874,C]]
