Body Found On Recycling Center Conveyor Belt in Central PA

Authorities say they still don't know the cause of death of a man whose body was found on a central Pennsylvania recycling center's conveyor belt last month.

York County officials say the body of 59-year-old Randall Rich was found June 11 by employees at Penn Waste Recycling Center in Manchester Township.

Coroner Pamela Gay said he had been seen in the county several days earlier, although his last known address was in Butler County, about 240 miles away.

Gay said Monday that officials still don't know exactly when he died, and his body had ``sustained some injuries, most likely after death'' from recycling equipment.

The cause and manner of death remain undetermined as officials seek more information about what happened to Rich in the days before he was found.
