A man's body was found under a rail bridge near the Schuylkill Expressway in Montgomery County Thursday.
Lower Merion Police say they were called to the old Connelly Containers site on Righters Ferry Road in Bala Cynwyd after a bridge inspection found the body around 11:45 a.m.
Investigators say it wasn’t clear how the unidentified white male died and they didn't reveal how long they thought his body was there before it was found. They investigated the bridge above and a section of I-76 but couldn't determine a cause of death.
An autopsy is planned to find out how the man died, police said.
