Six years ago today, someone walked up to a local attorney as he arrived for work and shot the lawyer in the head.
Eric Birnbaum died a short time later.
Six years later his violent murder remains unsolved.
Birnbaum, a personal injury lawyer, was shot in the head as he stood near his car outside his office in Holland, Bucks County on Feb. 11, 2009.
A secretary at Birnbaum's law firm said a lone gunman executed Birnbaum outside the office. Officials don't believe the killing was a random act.
In the days after the killing, investigators said they had very little go to on, just a description of a man wearing a knit hat and sunglasses possibly driving a blue, older model minivan seen speeding from the scene.
A $20,500 reward was offered for information leading to an arrest and conviction but so far the 51-year-old's killer remains on the loose.
