Bertha Poses Rip Current Risk Along NJ

Swimmers are urged to be cautious at New Jersey beaches.

The National Weather Service says there's a moderate risk of rip currents through Wednesday because of Tropical Storm Bertha. Bertha is creating long-period swells as it moves northward in the Atlantic, posing no direct threat to the U.S. East Coast.

A woman was found dead off an Atlantic City beach after lifeguards had gone off duty on Monday night.
