Bath Salt Bust at Pa. Stores

A three-county investigation leads to the raid of several businesses, according to police

A Reading business was one of six to be raided on Wednesday. Police say they found synthetic drugs known as bath salts, and drug paraphernalia

Bath salts were banned in August in Pennsylvania.

The businesses, Nirvana's Closet, 1152 Rockland St. in Reading and the Nirvana's Closet in the Schuylkill Mall, were both targets of the raid, according to the newspaper.

Dragon's Chaser Emporium in the Fairlane Village Mall of Schuylkill County was also raided, along with three other locations in Centre County.

Charges have not yet been filed, and the investigation is still going on.

Bath salts have been linked to cases of erratic or violent behavior. Pennsylvania was the 21st state to enact a ban.
