Police are investigating three attempted child lurings, that all happened near bus stops in Chester County. The most recent happened Monday between 6-6:30 a.m at North Everhart Avenue and West Gay Street in West Chester, according to police.
Two students told police that a man in his early to mid-20s, motioned for them to get in his car, a cream-colored sedan. The children were able to get safely on the bus, and told school administrators what had happened.
On Sept. 29 in West Goshen, a girl was waiting for the school bus at Rosedale and Ceredo avenues, when a male driver in his late 20s or early 30s, driving a "sparkly blue" car, pulled over and gestured for her to get in. When she refused, he exposed himself to her, according to police, and she ran home.
In a similar incident on Sept. 26 in East Fallowfield, a 10-year-old girl had just gotten off the bus, and was walking home to a housing development off West Chester Road, when a man in a red sedan with a silver or gray pinstripe on the side, told her to "get in the car," according to police. The young girl was able to run home safely.
