A.C. Employee Drunk During Alleged Hit-&-Run: Cops

An Atlantic City Public Works employee was reportedly drunk on the job when he allegedly hit a car and drove off Friday night.

Kevin Cundiff was allegedly heavily intoxicated around 6:15 when he reportedly struck a car at the Renaissance Plaza (near Atlantic and Tennessee Avenues) and then drove off, Atlantic City Police said.

Luckily no one in the car that was struck was hurt.

Cundiff was arrested about 30 minutes later, cops said.

The 27-year-old was on the clock at 2 p.m. for a shift that was set to end at 10 p.m., cops said.

Cundiff’s blood alcohol level was three times the legal limit, cops said.

No word was immediately given on possible charges.
