Man, Teen Struck in Shooting Outside Grocery Store

A man and a teen boy are both recovering after a shooting outside a grocery store in the Kensington section of the city.

The 21-year-old man and 15-year-old boy were on the 400 block of West York Street Wednesday night when an unidentified gunman opened fire before fleeing the scene.

Both victims were struck. The man was taken to Temple University Hospital while the teen was taken to Episcopal. They are both in stable condition.

Investigators found six shell casings at the scene of the shooting. No arrests have been made and investigators have not released a description of any suspects.

Police are currently searching through surveillance video from nearby stores.
