Arrest in Deadly Camden Hit-&-Run

NJ man accused of rear-ending another vehicle on I-676 over the weekend

State troopers have arrested a Burlington County man on charges stemming from a hit-and-run crash that left a woman dead and three others injured.

Ronald Winzinger of Hainesport surrendered to state troopers on Monday evening. The 35-year-old is charged with leaving the scene of a fatal accident and hindering apprehension.

State Police say Winzinger was driving at an unsafe speed when his vehicle rear-ended another vehicle that was stopped in traffic on Interstate 676 in Camden on Saturday.

Police say that the car that 29-year-old Michelle Macinnes, of Jackson, N.J., was riding in was struck by a black Nissan Xterra on Saturday at around 11:40 a.m. near Exit 4.

State Police say Winzinger stopped briefly after the crash before leaving the scene. State troopers found his vehicle under a tarp in a parking lot near his home.

Winzinger was taken to county jail in lieu of $75,000 full cash bail.

It's not known if he has a lawyer.
