Armed Robbers Tie Up Employees, Steal Cash in Hotel Hold-Up

The Embassy Suites in Southwest Philadelphia was robbed early Tuesday morning.

Three people were tied up during an armed robbery at the Embassy Suites in Southwest Philadelphia Tuesday morning.

Southwest Detectives say that two armed suspects entered the Embassy Suites at 9000 Bartram Avenue just before 4:30 a.m. Tuesday and tied up two employees and a guest before stealing money from the hotel.

Police tell NBC10 that the alleged robbers fled the hotel with about $400 cash.

No one was injured in the incident.

Investigators are now questioning witnesses and reviewing surveillance video, hoping for clues that will lead them to the suspects.
