Police are investigating a car fire on Bennington Road in Folcroft -- the second on that street in less than two weeks.
Fire crews were on the 700 block of Bennington Road early Wednesday where a resident woke up to find the family car up in flames.
"It's mean, it's cruel. This is all we have...It's just mean. It's just really, really mean," the victim told NBC10's Tim Furlong.
Firefighters were able to quickly put out the fire. No one was injured in the blaze.
This blaze is the most recent in a rash of suspected arsons in the neighborhood.
On October 13, a car was set on fire on the same block and two weeks before that, two suspicious fires were started a few blocks away. In one of the cases, the fire moved from the car to a deck above before completely gutting the home.
"My kids are scared to death. They can't sleep. They haven't slept since the first fire..." the victim's daughter told NBC10.
