Suburban multi-millionaire Andrew Mogilyansky is accused of molesting girls in Russia, who were orphans, and then placing them in a child prostitution business.

It’s the type of crime people get pummeled for (or worse) in prison.

A wealthy man from Richboro, Bucks County is accused of setting up a child prostitution business with orphan girls.

They were all 14 or under.

38-year old Andrew Mogilvansky traveled from Philly to Russia to have sex with young girls and then set them up on a child prostitution business, according to the U.S. Attorney’s office.

“All of the victims in this case were young girls who were orphans. The defendant took what little they had – their innocence and their dignity,” said Acting U.S. Attorney Laurie Magid.

“As the indictment alleges, not only did he molest them for his own pleasure, but he treated these children as a commodity - useful, marketable, and ultimately disposable.”

Mogilvansky was arrested Tuesday night in Bucks County. He in federal custody, charged with one count of traveling for the purpose of engaging in illicit sexual conduct and three counts of engaging in illicit sexual conduct in foreign places.

If convicted of all charges, he faces a maximum sentence of 30 years in prison on each count, a lifetime term of supervised release, and a $1,000,000 fine.

The alleged crimes took place in 2003 and 2004.

Four other people involved overseas have been arrested and convicted in Russia.
