The wreck left the woman’s SUV – with heavy front-end damage – stopped on SEPTA trolley tracks at 52nd Street and Chester Avenue around 9 a.m.
Medics rushed the woman to Penn Presbyterian Hospital for treatment.
The crash also caused problems along SEPTA’s Route 13 Trolley Line – one trolley car stopped just before the crash scene.
