Amber Alert Issued for NJ Boy

Terry Dusseault, Jr. was taken by his father from a home in Lumberton

The New Jersey State Police have issued an Amber Alert for 8-year-old Terry Dusseault, Jr. after he was allegedly abducted by his father.

Terry Dusseault, Sr., 38, was last seen taking his son from the family's home along the 300 block of Canal Circle in Lumberton, N.J. Tuesday morning, police say. Dusseault and his son live alone in the home. The boy's mother is deceased.

The father is 5-feet 10-inches tall, 210 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.  He has a "NY" tattoo on his left arm and one on his upper chest of the word "Schaney."

He was last seen wearing a tan short sleeve shirt and khaki shorts and is driving a 2001 black Hyundai Santa Fe with N.J. plate number LXB-61U. The car is registered to Dusseault's purported girlfriend Amy White, police say.

Terry Jr. was last seen wearing a maroon and white striped shirt and blue jeans.

Dusseault is a registered sex offender who was sentenced to 36-months probation in June 2007 after police uncovered him with pornography of a child from North Carolina, police say. That probation had just expired not long ago.

Then on Tuesday, Burlington County prosecutors charged Dusseault with sexually assaulting three juveniles, according to officials. Officials say there's no evidence to suggest the father molested his son, but issued the Amber Alert because they are concerned about Dusseault's mental state.
