Killer Admits to Using Same Gun to Kill 2 Teens Days Apart

A New Jersey man has admitted to killing two teenagers in separate shootings three years ago.

NJ.com reports 24-year-old Alton Jones pleaded guilty to aggravated manslaughter last week in the deaths of 19-year-old Rayshawn Ransom and 19-year-old Tierra Green in June 2013. The Trenton man admitted he fired at both victims three days apart with the same gun.

Jones fled Trenton after the slayings but was tracked down in New Haven, Connecticut, several weeks later.

Mercer County prosecutors say Jones faces 38 years behind bars in the killings as part of a plea deal.

Two men who were with Jones when Ransom was shot have also pleaded guilty in the case.
